Quad Biking and River Rafting in Scotland
The outdoor industry has been going through a boom period over the last few years, especially in Scotland. There are currently about 20 or more companies providing rafting in scotland and possibly even more than that offering quad biking. White water rafting in Scotland started on the river Tay in the late 80's providing rafting trips from Aberfeldy to Grandtully where the international slalom course is. This particular section of river is probably one of the busiest stretches of commercial water used for rafting in Europe and though it is subject to a gentlemans agreement with the riperian owners, it is still free to use by the various companies who use it.
